throughout his music career. He started as
an intern for Franklin and Associates in
Atlanta. From reviewing tapes for the
company's roster to an in house A&R rep and
producer for Guardian Angel Inc.
Listening to song submissions for Roberta
Flack, Peabo Bryson, Luther Vandross and
Miles Davis. Marc?s ear was developed to
find top songs for Artists.
Coming from a music family. Marc's
Grandfather and Aunt Penned hits for Billie
Holiday such as (Good morning heartache)
and his uncle penned songs for Duke
Ellington. Not knowing this until a
teenager it just came natural for Marc to
spot a hit song.
In the mid 80's Marc moved to Los Angeles
to work in the studio with other musicians. He has recorded sessions with
The Gap Band, Ray Parker Jr. featuring
Radio and was the drummer for Warner Bros
recording act Club Nouveau.
When Marc moved back to Atlanta he started
a company called Innovative Recording
Methods and instructed many Producers and
engineers on MIDI Sequencing, ;Protools,
sampling, Synchronization methods and sound
design. Through the 90's you could hear
some of Marc's samples being used in popular
music.
Currently Marc has started a new production
venture call Message Music Enterprises
L.L.C They have three acts signed for
releases in late 2006.
Marc has produced and arranged songs for
Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, and gospel and is
recognized as one of today's most versatile
producers in our day.
